Ontario CVOR violation rate: how to read it
Ontario's CVOR abstract gives an overall violation rate: how much of Ontario's threshold the carrier has used up through its collisions, convictions and inspections, weighted by fleet size and kilometres.
Thresholds
- 35% and up: the Ministry's first intervention (warning letter).
- Higher rates bring stronger interventions (interview, audit, sanctions). At 100% the carrier faces suspension.
